Over several years, we have delivered a series of rapid, evidence-based reviews to inform the organisation’s most significant strategic decisions - including revenue raising programmes, membership models and digital delivery.

We conducted extensive desk-based research to assess the evidence base for new schemes, analyse the policy and market landscape, and understand barriers to implementation. This included benchmarking comparable programmes across the UK and internationally to identify lessons and opportunities for differentiation.

To ground our advice in operational reality, we carried out structured engagement with members, internal leaders, and external experts. These conversations surfaced existing challenges, expectations for growth and impact, and the cultural and delivery considerations essential to any transition.

Drawing on our team’s deep expertise in third sector strategy and health system design, we engaged senior leaders across all four nations to understand the distinct policy, operating and commissioning environments in each - allowing us to tailor advice to the complexities of a devolved system.

Using this insight, we developed and appraised strategic options, reflecting how the organisation could move forward, managing risk and remaining true to their mission. Options and solutions were supported by clear transition pathways, case studies, and the practical actions needed to implement change at pace.
